This is for the cities of Shoreline and Lake Forest Park Washington. Like other artist rosters, it gives me a green light to work with organizations in that area having the preliminary formalities already accomplished. It is a great opportunity, we'll see what type of experiences it will foster. Here is a link to the announcement.
I was accepted into this show which opened on April 1st. There are 176 pieces in the show and I have 4 as shown below before delivery. This is the first time one of my multiples (Faithful) has been shown. The show has a pretty long calendar, as it runs until May 30th. The MIVAL Gallery is in the heart of the Mercer Island business district in the Avellino Building at 2836 78th Ave SE. (South of the QFC). Here is a link to the MIVAL website and exhibition.
I applied for inclusion into the City of Seattle's Public Art Artists Roster a few months back and was pleasantly surprised to get accepted and included into the roster. This roster is used to "fast track" projects and I am pre approved. It is quite a eclectic collection of artists and mediums, from new and relatively inexperienced artists to those who have complete multimillion dollar commissions. This guarantees nothing but a nice accolade and some recognition in the region
