Superficial Finished for Contemporary Realism
I'm always busy before an upcoming show. This is Superficial (Sdáng Sk'ats'gálgaang) and is acrylic on wood. Around 2" x 12" x 16". Sdáng Sk'ats'gálgaang is Haida for two squids.

Marine Food Webs: Drifters to Swimmers Exhibition at Oregon state University
I just dropped off two pieces at the Giustina Gallery in the LaSells Center at Oregon State University in Corvallis. The exhibition opens February 3rd and runs until March 12th. Unfortunately I cannot make the opening slated for February 6th from 5:00 to 7:30 PM.

Another piece done for "Contemporary Realism"
I've been experimenting with a number of one-piece wooden "body-frames" for smaller format works such as Shwah-Kuk. This is acrylic on wood (poplar) and is around 5" x 7". This will be included in the Contemporary Realism show at Lynn Hanson Gallery in February.

Essence (Gandass'aaj'), another piece done for the upcoming show at Lynn Hanson Gallery
A relatively small piece at 1 1/2" x 6" x 8". The wings of the bee are Plexiglass that has been engraved with the veins and structure. Acrylic on wood for the rest of it.

Devotion (Táax') ready for "Contemporary Realism"
A little bit different direction here for a few pieces in the upcoming show Contemporary Realism at LynnHanson Gallery in February. Acrylic on wood Taax (with accents) is simply the Tlinglet word for slug. Approximately 1 1/2" x 8" x 10".
