

Roland Reiss -Passing of a California Legend
I was saddened to hear of the passing of artist and mentor Roland Reiss on December 13th. In 2018 I was fortunate to visit my daughter at college in Claremont and attend the opening of his show at the Claremont Museum of Art. He was always generous with is wisdom and advice, and I feel blessed to have been able to thank him at that time. Blog/Diary Update
I have stated multiple times that this blog should be considered more of a diary of sorts and I'm just kind of sharing my thoughts. It is meant to be casual. Shwáh-kuk Sold
I got off to a good start at the Vashon Island Center for the Arts 2020 Miniatures show. This piece titled: Shwáh-kuk sold just a little while after the show officially opened. Shwáh-kuk simply translates to "frog". Here is a link to the show
