Canadian Artist Robert Marchessault's landscapes are hanging at Foster White gallery this month. Quite a body of work as there must have been 25+ paintings shown.
He has shown at Foster White a couple of times before. The works have an illuminated quality to them that I enjoy. I also found it interesting to look close up at various pieces to see his technique employed. You'd think that the detail was created in a standard fashion, but there was quite the variety of execution involved; some stippling with brushes on some ,one had small circles painted, I even saw some some evidence of what looked like some spraying in the background/sky on at least one piece. Nice little surprises.

This photograph by Jeffery Milstein also caught my eye.
