Back to Work

I've been building a number of pieces lately, but haven't really been painting them for a while. I have a good start on Case and Point. I've been perfecting a faux galvanized effect, and the frame of this one is pretty good! The background is a bit of a departure from more textural elements. Hopefully I can finish in the next week or so.

I think that I am going to redo the lower element that says "Burden" to match the backgound section. The background is raw wood painted so that the grain shows through. The original "Burden" element was meant to be faux steel painted, but I think that it is a too little big, and I really like the look of the wood on this one. I'll just experiment and see how it turns out.
