New Work - Preliminary

I have a few new pieces in progress. Here is Rank and File from the And/Or series. Most of it is built and it is in the preliminary stages of painting. The background has been primed and flat sanded, and awaits glazing. The body is completely built and textured and will be weathered/distressed. The medalions that are a pinkish color need to be finished and weathered. I think that I will attempt to make them look like ceramic tiles. The feature for the center still needs to be cutout and started as well. It will be a garabaldi fish. Plenty to keep me busy.
