One of the museum's Pollocks was being cleaned and restored and they decided to use one of the galleries for the process. A great idea!

A couple of early works on paper were included, and some great visuals in large digital printed vinyl on the wall as well. Opposite this famous image of Pollock painting was a monitor with the famous documentary of Pollock creating some of his works. This is the film with the camera man below Pollock while he is splattering paint onto glass.

A wider view of the set up.

Looks like they'll be getting plenty of light.

A nice tribute to the work. I would have liked to see the actual process of the cleaning/restoration in person.
Always worth a visit both real and virtual, here's the link to MOCA.
