Southern California Visit - Rothko Room MOCA Downtown

While it is always a pleasure to view a single Mark Rothko piece, it is especially satisfying to experience a room full of them, and the MOCA does not disappoint.

I didn't get shots of all of them, but as you can see, there are a number of benches to sit and contemplate these works and installation. The photo looks empty here, but it was a bit crowded the day I attended. Perhaps an early morning visit might allow you to view this in a bit more intimate setting.
