EMP Visit - Hello Kitty

My daughters turned 18 recently and we ventured down to the Experience Music Project and a tour of the Hello Kitty exhibit. Turns out I had a lot to learn about Hello Kitty as the whole history was spelled out before you. The exhibit gave me a bit of a headache; too bright, odd techno music, pink everywhere, and crowds. Kinda like the mall. So the installation department at the EMP did a bang up job putting Hello Kitty in the perfect setting.

There was some accompanying art involved. I don't know if this is "selling out" or not, but here are some pieces. I don't particularly recommend the show, but I was surprised to find for art there.
