Marie Watt's piece at SAM

I was pleased to see one of Marie Watt's "Blanket Stories" pieces at a recent visit to SAM. I may have posted this before, but I met Marie at SAM around 5-7 years ago while she was displaying a piece and feverishly running a kids participation area at the museum. It was one of those "I know you from somewhere moments" and it took us a while to figure out where we had met. It turns out that I had been her high school track and field as well as cross country coach at Redmond High School in the early 1980s.

Anyway, the piece is part of the permanent collection at SAM and part of the "Pacific Currents" exhibit.
