Give and Take in Progress

I've been working on this piece titled "Give and Take" for a while now and am pushing to hopefully complete it soon. The frame is for all practical purposes done, I'm now working on the interior details. This is part of a series I've started called, "And/Or". I need to finish painting the rock fish in the center and distress the gear details and the plaque for the front. I tried something a bit different in priming these elements and they are quite shiny, more than normal (I used Rustoleum spray paint over gold gesso). I'll have them look like weathered bronze for this piece, but sometime will come up with a piece where new and shiny brass or bronze is necessary since it is so convincing at this state.
