Greg Kucera Gallery's selection for the month of June is a bit of the old and some of the new.  Above is an installation of Alden Mason's Burpee Gardens series from the early 1970's.  It is an excellent collection from this body of work, rather than going into detail, the gallery has a well done reflection on the work here.

I enjoyed these simple images of handcuff created with pray paint on paper. These were displayed in the ¡Cuidado! - The Help installa...

This print caught my eye at the artwalk I believe it is titled Montana #1.  As you can see, Paul McKee was doing rather well at this point.  Anyway, Project 106 is basically a hallway off an entrance at the corner of 3rd Avenue South and Yesler Way/Prefontaine Place South intersection.  Method Gallery is part of the complex.  Here is the link to the project: Project - 106

I made it to Seeing Nature at the Seattle Art Museum before the show recently closed.  The exhibition was a collection of landscape related pieces form the Allen Family collection. It was quite a show!

I did not know that the Allen's has such an extensive collection in this area, though it is no surprise. Here's a nice Monet.

I don't think that I've ever seen a Klimt in person.  This was displayed in a low light area, it really is far more red in brighter light....

My friends at the Guardino Gallery in Portland have Dave Benz, Tamae Frame and Samyak Yamauchi installations for the month of June.  Always worth a visit.
